Monaco. A magic name for an atypical circuit. Some of the spectators and drivers don't like it because it offers almost no overtaking opportunity, but the overwhelming majority are fascinated by this extraordinary Grand Prix.
It is one of the 3 most prestigious car races in the world with the 24 hours of Le Mans and the 500 miles of Indianapolis.
Most of the time, the result of the race is played out during qualifying, but the unforeseen and surprises are not uncommon in the race.
Monaco is the archetype of urban circuits. A Mediterranean town, a beautiful view of the sea, a roller coaster topography, a festive atmosphere, and of course a glamor and luxury side that borders on excess. This Grand Prix remains the benchmark for all city race organizers. Often imitated, but never equaled.
