Interlagos circuit is one a of a few racing tracks that is still interesting, spectacular and appreciated by drivers and spectators, even though after it had been cut in half and largely modified.
The original layout was exceptionnally unique in the F1 calendar. A kind of snake that twists on itself. A mix of north-american style bankings, long curves, straights and some tight turns. It was also bumpy, and being anticlockwise, that made it one of the hardest tracks of the season.
After having been shortened, it changed almost radically but without losing its interest. From driving and spectators point of view, it's still one of the best racing tracks ever.
Here are some videos telling everything about the History of this classic brasilian circuit and its two exciting lives.
