In François Cevert's biography, there is a strange, and apparently genuine, story. One day in 1966, a clairvoyant predicted, among other events, to his wife at that time, that he would not live until his thirtieth year.

Cevert had everything going for him, fate smiled on him, or at least
that's what everyone had the impression of… until that fatal day in
October 1973, or on the circuit where he won his first and only victory in Formula two years earlier, he found a tragic end, when he was just 29 years old ...

too early like many adored heroes who have lived to the full, Cevert
did not however correspond to the archetype of the young daredevil who
burns his life at both ends. On the contrary...
